Enjoy a relaxed, informal evening with your fellow exhibitors, judges and other invited guests as we officially welcome you to the fourth annual Louisville Concours d’Elegance.  It will be a true taste of Kentucky, from the menu to the music!

Saturday, October 1

• Backroads of the Bluegrass Motoring Tour

Roll through the prestigious Valhalla Golf Club, a PGA Premier site, on your way to historic Bardstown and the marvelous Heaven Hill Distilleries - named North American “Distiller of the Year” by Whiskey Magazine in 2008 and 2009.  Enjoy a catered lunch and special private tours of America’s largest independent, family-owned and operated producer and marketer of distilled spirits.

The tour is open to exhibitors and Concours participants, as well as the general public.

$125 per car (includes driver and navigator)/ $50 each additional passenger – Limited Availability!

  • Check-in 8:15 am, tour leaves at 9:00 am, return between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm

• Dawn at the Downs Champagne Brunch - 9:00 am – Noon 

Gate 1, Churchill Downs
$75 per person, limited availability. Casual attire; light jacket suggested

Watch as the four-legged, million-dollar athletes of Churchill Downs workout under the famous Twin Spires.  Then, join us for a private walking tour of Churchill Downs, followed by a special performance by the Westpoint Military Academy Glee Club. Your morning continues with an exquisite Champagne Brunch at the Kentucky Derby Museum.  The museum marked its 25th anniversary last year with a $5.5 million renovation.  A special highlight is “The Greatest Race,” an annually updated, 360-degree high-definition film that brings the Derby story alive.


• Tour of Brooklawn Child & Family Services
3:00 pm  – 4:00 pm

Transportation provided: Depart from the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 3:00 pm;
 return at 4:00 pm (Also available on Friday afternoon).

The Louisville oncours d’Elegance is produced by volunteers and staff of Brooklawn Child & Family Services, as the primary fundraiser for the organization. Take a brief tour of Brooklawn’s campus, meet Mary Kate Poling, the new President/CEO, and learn more about the programs and services Brooklawn provides and the incredible need it fulfills.

 

 


• Concours Eve Gala and After Party
       6:00 pm – midnight

churchill DownsThis year's Gala is a "License to Thrill" as we combine the spirit of Bond...James Bond with the essence of Kentucky!
 
Churchill Downs has opened its exclusive, private, members-only Turf Club to Concours guests for a fabulous cocktail reception featuring our signature drinks - martini's, of course, shaken not stirred - and bourbons from some of Kentucky's most legendary distilleries. The Churchill Downs bugler will issue his famous "Call to the Post," and the evening will continue in the elite Millionaire's Row with a delicious dinner, entertainment and a fabulous charity auction. 

Then it's back to the Turf Club for "The Sequel" after party featuring the "Goldfinger Lounge" where you can dance the night away or test your luck in "Casino Royale."
 
- Gala begins at 6:00 p.m. continues till midnight.
- "The Sequel" after party - 9 p.m. till midnight.
